The Beginning
I wasn't the kind of student who topped every exam. But I was always curious. As a child, I would take apart my toys — not to break them, but to understand how they worked. I wanted to know what was happening behind the scenes. That curiosity eventually became the foundation of everything we do at Justax.
After completing Class 12 in 2012, I chose Commerce for a simple reason: I had overheard my father — an Advocate and Tax Practitioner — telling someone he wanted me to become a Chartered Accountant. Like many young students, I followed that path without asking myself whether it truly matched my strengths.
I enrolled for CA CPT and gave it my best. But over time I realised something important: my passion wasn't accounting itself — it was solving problems with technology.
At the time, I didn't know that this realisation would eventually shape an entire company.
The Turning Point
In 2017, India introduced the GST regime. Then my father called.

I packed my bags and returned to Jabalpur to help at our family practice. Initially, I wasn't excited about traditional tax work. But I quickly discovered a problem that fascinated me.
GST wasn't just changing tax laws — it was changing the way professionals worked.
These challenges frustrated many businesses and tax practitioners. To me, they were puzzles waiting to be solved.
How We Grew
While working with my father, I noticed something surprising. Many clients were still creating invoices manually. Compliance took longer than it should. Simple mistakes caused unnecessary stress.
Instead of asking clients to change overnight, I started building small technology tools that made their work easier. Inspired by the Government of India's Ease of Doing Business initiative, I developed practical utilities that simplified GST compliance and reduced repetitive work.
Those first tools weren't built as products. They were built because our own clients genuinely needed them.
